COVID-19 has impacted the entire globe. Many small businesses have shut down because customers have stopped coming in, due to the Stay at Home order issued by the government. All businesses require income to pay their team, rent, utilities, and to provide their customers with exceptional service. When that disappears, so does the business entity. Most small businesses will not be able to reopen.
Most consumers are not aware that Automobile repair shops are considered an Essential Business. We are OPEN to serve, and we are taking measures to maintain a safe work environment for our team, and for all of our clients.
We’ve changed the way we service our vehicles, and customers, by providing no contact pick up and delivery, no contact drop off, and sanitizing our clients vehicles before and after service. Yes, we want to stay in business, but we also have a responsibility to do our part to protect each other.
We are extremely proud of our team! They come to work every day ready to serve, and willing to do what is necessary to provide our clients with the best possible experience.
You may have noticed that Carmax repair facilities have closed their doors in your area. They have shut down all repairs and shifted their work to local independent repair shops like Hillmuth Auto Care, and Auto Stream Car Care to service their customers. This is for Carmax customers who bought an extended warranty when they purchased their vehicle. For the first time, we’ve been able to repair their customer’s vehicle during their 90 day Purchase Warranty, which is usually completed at a Carmax Repair facility.
The sad part is that a lot of dealerships who offer repairs and service, the quick lube, and independent repair facilities have closed their doors during COVID-19. Most of them will not reopen, and if they do it will be a struggle. However, if you need service to your vehicle now, you can call Hillmuth Auto Care, and our friends Auto Stream Car Care, and Caton Auto Clinic. They are not our competition, they are the best in the automotive repair and service industry. They also treat their customers as we do- like family.
There’s a lot of information from our government that you can find on the web and social media. And much of it can be hard to decipher because the messages are too inconsistent to trust. But Here’s the TRUTH… FEAR is not real. If we break down this word, this is what we get ” False Evidence Appearing Real”.
FEAR is an emotional state that can cause us to make a decision based on emotion, versus logic. The Best advice we can give to you (and it’s the same message that we told our team) is to remember that this is temporary. It will pass. Together, we will come out on the other side of this pandemic even stronger.
