Join Hillmuth Auto Care in giving back this holiday season as we collect Toys at each of our locations to be donated to the Toys for Tots charity ran by the United States Marine Corp Reserves.
What is Toys for Tots?
Toys for Tots is a campaign run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Their goal is to collect new, unwrapped toys they will be able to donate to less fortunate children during the holiday season. The program began in 1947 and has continued to grow each year becoming one of the largest holiday season charities in the United States.

Also, if you can’t bring in a toy to your local drop-off spot, you can help by making a donation on the Toys for Tots website. Just last year, this wonderful charity raised over $280 million in revenue. That’s a lot of toys and happy kids!
How Your Local Mechanic is Helping
So what does Toys for Tots have to do with Hillmuth Auto Care? Hillmuth, your local Maryland mechanic, is helping out by joining the Toys for Tots cause this winter season! Each of our four locations in Clarksville, Columbia, Gaithersburg, and Glenwood, MD will have a donation box for new toys to be donated. These toys will be collected until –December 5th by the Toys for Tots organization and distributed to children by late December to help celebrate the Holiday season.
This means, if you want to donate toys to this wonderful cause you need to have them to our shop by that first week in December.
Whether you’re coming in for routine vehicle maintenance, a more extensive vehicle repair service, or maybe you’re just stopping in to say hi—we hope you’ll join in the cause. Bring in a toy you want to donate and leave it at the drop-off box in our shop. We hope you’ll join us in donating to Toys for Tots this holiday season.
